For Save Lives 5K, we partnered with our sister agency, Waypoint, to deliver a fully customized and gamified application for runners. Runners sign up at UHRun.com and are immediately given the option to raise money as part of an existing team, create a new team, or run by themselves. Runners then can get friends, family, and the public to sponsor them during their race. The fun begins with the leaderboards. Each individual and each time competes to raise the most money for the race.
The best part is the money raised is for the United Hatzalah of Israel, which manages, purchases, and develops specially equipped motorcycle ambulances and is powered by its network of more than 6,200 volunteer medics to help save thousands of lives each year across Israel by providing medical treatment in an average response time of 3 minutes or less. What a great cause!
